In this episode of the podcast, I sit down with a good friend of mine Shayne Ryan. Shayne studied exercise and health in WIT, following on from this he did a master's in nutrition at Ulster University. Shayne's journey through the Irish education system is very interesting and will strike a chord with anyone who struggled in secondary school. Shayne is now working in a large nutriceutical firm in Vancouver and we discuss things like work-life balance, idea generation, etc. Shayne has recently set up his own podcast called Difficult Conversations Made Easy where he delves into the topic of mental health across topics such as the GAA, University, and in the local community. We discuss why it is hard for men to speak out and what techniques to employ to improve your mental health/mood.
