Even people with little or no expertise in the job market have started to look around and say, "Uh-oh. Maybe, um, things are not so great after all... maybe these stats we're hearing are complete nonsense..."
Yet we still have so-called experts telling people, "Just go get another job. Go stir up a side hustle. Just get yerself over-employed and you'll be fine." Riiiiiiight. OK. Sure. 😒
People who thought that The Great Resignation would last forever are on the same wavelength with realtors who thought the FOMO & YOLO of 2021 would also last forever, too. Now those folks are going bankrupt and dealing with layoffs.
