We have a holiday, and it's a 3-day weekend, and for some of us, it will suffice. Or maybe we wonder why black people get a holiday but not the rest of Americans based on skin color or race. Or perhaps we don't know too much about the history behind today's significant holiday. For the sake of humanity, let's take the time to ask questions and learn so we can build better relationships. We are all going through some type of struggle, and we must lead with compassion. Look up, and let's elevate.
