Unsubscribe: creating sacred space for God
The season of Lent has always been about ruthlessly eliminating distractions from our lives so that we can focus more fully on God and the things that actually bring life. As we begin to emerge out of this 2-year pandemic, what are the distractions we’ve picked up along the way that we need to “unsubscribe” from if we are going to bring God back into the center? Please join us this Lenten season as we talk about moving closer to God by moving away from other things; eliminating distraction form our lives so that we can draw closer to God and all the things that actually count in this life.
Choosing to be present in the moment and have gratitude for the day allows you to enjoy the beauty of now.
Prepare your heart and mind for this season of Lent with meditation and prayer. We hope this practice fills your heart with gratitude.
God of creation, who brought us and our world into existence, please continue to create; and give us the eyes to see the beauty of this creation as well as the one yet to come. Amen
