Description

In the 2nd of 4 episodes on Summer Blockbusters, Dre & Goodman discuss the 2013 Sandra Bullock/Melissa McCarthy buddy-cop female comedy The Heat, directed by frequent McCarthy collaborator Paul Feig.

But before we break it down in trusty FO Show fashion, Dre shares some 'good' Goodman news and we discuss what we watched this week, including John Cassavetes' Gloria starring Gena Rowland and Joseph Gordon Levitt's airplane hi-jacking movie on Amazon Prime, 7500.

Then we dive into The Heat, highlight the comedic cast, discuss Paul Feig's direction and run through the Quota Obscura machine. We even play a game of Heat or The Heat?

Then it's time to BOOM! (Based On Other Movies) where Goodman celebrates the month of July in pure, Americana fashion by grilling up some tasty cheeseburgers:

Yum!

As always, we take you to The Quote Parade. It's like the Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade, but with random movie quotes.

Coming up next week: World War Z starring Brad Pitt & a jillion fast zombies
