This week’s episode features Professional and former NCAA All-American Track and Field runner Davon Demoss. Davon and I talked about his time growing up in Jackson, Tennessee, and how the mentorship of his parents helped prepare him for any situation. Davon grew up with a love of video games and reading. Playing football and basketball at a young age also prepared him for his future in track and field. Davon talked to me about not starting his transition for track and field until his senior year of high school. Davon was given the opportunity to spend the next four years of his life at the University of Memphis. Davon elevated his talents at Memphis which allowed so many opportunities for him. Davon has now graduated and is looking to continue his path for Track and Field, but would love to use his degree in Criminal Justice in the near future.
