Graphic designer, photographer, and videographer Nick Wenger joined me on the show this week! A native of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Nick talked to me about his new partnership with Slam (https://www.slamonline.com/), and how he has become a premier media outlet in the state. He’s also recently gotten his real estate license and looks to grow on that as well.
Nick talked to me about the beginning of his journey. At 12, he would make edits on his phone, nothing serious. A baseball player at the time, he had to stop playing because of an injury. Unable to continue being an athlete, Nick was passionate about still being a part of sports. Coach Clawton, a history coach at NLR, and also the linebackers coach for the football team, gave Nick a chance to work with the team, and his passion and ability grew, from this point on. A good friend of Collin Moore, who joined us earlier this season, Nick gives a lot of appreciation to Moore, allowing Nick to work with the Woodz elite AAU basketball team.
Nick constantly talked about hard work, and how important that is in any field. There have been times that Nick considered stopping and leaning towards different paths. But the hard work he has constantly put in is unmatched (14:50). “If you’re not willing to put in the work, somebody will take your spot. It will be slow at first, but you have to work for everything”. A big fisherman, and cook, Nick loves to spend time with his friends outside of his work.
As usual, Nick left with me with this: “Having a passion about something, make sure you’re doing what you love, be respectful to everyone, word travels. Hard work, passion, and respect”. Very fun episode, with someone who is becoming well-known for his work, and I’m supporting him every step of the way! Continue doing what you love, Nick, and do great things in the Real estate market! Enjoy the episode everyone! God Bless! (https://www.nickwengerdesigns.com/)
