Former professional football player, Chris Mcclendon, joined me on the show this week!  A native of Rixey, Arkansas, Chris fell in love with football as well as baseball at a young age. A member of the mighty Vikings, one of the prestigious young teams in Arkansas, the love and fun for the sport was definite. An alumni of Parkview High School, which, of course, is known as one ot the top basketball schools in Little Rock, football began appealing to Chris, with its devoted players and impactful coaches. Chris had a devoted mindset that helped him standout and ended up attending Oklahoma Pandhandle State University. Team chemistry and learning more about himself as a player allowed Chirs to be an elite player. Changing landscapes proved to be a challenge, but a challenge that Chris definitely moved towards with high shoulders. Upon devoting himself solely to football, opportunities began opening up. Chris became a member of a growing German football league and became one of the most decorated running backs to ever play in the league.

A devoted and loving father, Chris discussed with me the joy and pure excitement being a father to his daughter has brought his life. Now back in Arkansas as a firefighter, Chris is enjoying life, and growing majorly as a person. This is what Chris left me with, “Be yourself, and keep going, you’re going to grow, every year. A 15 year old won’t think like 17 year old you, so keep growing and build.” Enjoyed this very much, very pivotal and experienced advice and wisdom was given from Chris. Please enjoy the episode! God bless!
