Vanderbilt Women’s basketball player, Jada Brown, joined me on the show this week! A native of Bentonville, Arkansas, Jada started basketball as early as possible and began taking basketball seriously in middle school. Very passionate about family, blessed and grateful for her parents and siblings, Jada passionately talked to me about how close she is to her family. “Know your worth” is a quote from her father that she values.
Jada discussed one of the most intriguing recruiting processes that has ever been shared with me. Athletes, please make sure to seriously listen to this segment. Coaches changing and recruiting laws are something that everyone needs to be aware of. (7:30)
Becoming one of the most accomplished basketball players in Bentonville High School history, Jada’s endless recruiting trip finally settled as she moved to Nashville and began her journey at Vanderbilt. Elevating her game and enjoying life, Jada has bonded with teammates and found her element in a new environment.
One of the kindest and most compassionate people I have ever talked to in my three years of doing the show, Jada loves to give advice and help young ladies develop their game. Her wisdom and journey make this interview one to watch. This is what she left me with, “I want people to see Christ in me, I want people to see I was a good teammate. Know your worth at all times; don’t let anyone think you’re not capable of something.”
Please learn, enjoy, and embrace Jada as her journey is just beginning, as we wish her the best. God bless everyone! Please enjoy!
