Digital content producer Billy Mounchan joined me on the show this week! A native of Houston, Texas, a videographer at heart, he began working with cameras at a young age, creating quality pictures and videos for family trips. Majoring in digital media at the University of Houston, his love for basketball became evident. Billy’s learning and adapting so much within the game of basketball allowed him to start living his dream within the game, which has been life changing.
After graduating college, Billy began a career at Apple, but moved on, finding his dream job working with the Houston Rockets. Working for the IT department, Billy knew working hard, being respectful, and making connections would allow him to grow. Speaking of connections, Billy talked about how important they are, and that being kind to everyone is important, because you never know who will go where, and if you may need them. In the freelancing world now, Billy is his own boss, creating work for things outside of basketball, but still focusing on basketball. He wants to travel and work continuously with basketball, and everything is slowly falling into place for him.
