An Excerpt from Sunday's Word of Inspiration - In this season of Lent, Pastor Spencer challenges believers to hear what God is saying and obey. Salvation is a free gift which is to be received by Faith. It can not be earned through our works and yet it is not cheap. Depth in God will cost us. In fact, it has cost many believers their very lives, true followers of Christ. Jesus taught that if any person wants to be a disciple, let him deny self and take up his cross and follow Him (Matt 16:24). Quite the contrary to what the world system teaches. Let us grow in our thinking as God's children and draw closer to Him than ever before through the disciplines of the Christian faith such as fasting. Will you join me?
