Today, we are so excited to talk about the science of happiness with Emily vanSonnenberg. She is a university psychology course creator and lecturer, psychological and behavioral healer, and creativity consultant. In 2009, she created and began, UCLA's first positive psychology course, entitled Happiness. She currently teaches the course to students and the general population for UCLA extension. In her private practice as a healer and intuitive, Emily specializes in helping highly sensitive, empathetic, and creative people heal and grow. She uses a hybrid scientific and intuitively tailored approach. Her goal is to help people recognize the truth of who they are, give honest insight, and provide compassionate support.
