Creating a meditation practice can seem overwhelming when you can't even sit still for more than a couple of minutes. Tracy Brady talks about taking 30 seconds to connect with and be there for ourselves.
Once you decide to start a meditation practice, Tracy recommends asking yourself these questions:
After answering those questions, see if you can be present for yourself for 30 seconds, in silence. Allowing whatever thoughts, or sound or awarenesses come to you, to come and go. Just be there without abandoning yourself for a little bit.
Because, who's going to be there, if not us?
