Today I talked to Tobius Churton, who is an author, historian, esotericist, and prolific biographer of the controversial and infamous occultist Aleister Crowley. In addition to a deep discussion of Gnosticism and the western esoteric tradition as well as a lot of other nourishing tangents, we spoke about Aleister Crowley. Tobias’ reverent attitude to Crowley and objective and deeply researched perspectives on his life should hopefully clear up some of the fear that stains his name.
