Six months after the launch of our Manufacturing Survey where 83% of respondents believed turnover would grow or remain the same over the next 12 months. We have officially left the EU, Brexit has been completed, the government held its spring budget offering new package of support to various people and sectors, the UK has seen the successful roll-out of its vaccine programme and after almost 18 months of COVID-19 restriction, in just a few weeks we are hopefully returning to the 'new normal'.
But what about the manufacturing sector? Has anything changed? Were our survey participants right to be optimistic about the future?
