Description

Calamity Jayne and Roxy explore the differences multiple generations of young ladies might have experienced moving from their original family unit into what they claim is a new one called, high school. They tell stories of what often defines the group, tribe, or gang one might join based on many different reasons. High School is likely, they argue, young women's first experience in pulling away and beginning to define who they want to be in the world. The theme of this episode is stereotypes. Using examples of Miss Piggy, Cruella DeVille and Sandra Dee and Riz from the movie Grease, they explore the common stereotypes given and sometimes accepted by young ladies. Who were you? And more importantly, who would you want to be most like now?
