Have you ever thought about why SO many movies take place in high school, despite high school being such a small amount of a person’s lifespan? And how, somehow, all the characters’ problems seem to get resolved by the time they graduate? In this episode we dive into teen movies and why we find coming-of-age films so satisfying. We also talk about some films that are set in high school but are darker than fun, comedic films like HSM or To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.
