Description

This week we're watching Ari Aster's debut nightmare, Hereditary (2018), which we can most easily describe as "a KFC family bucket of trauma". Jaime faces her horror fears and puts herself to the test while Eric relishes in the research and flinches at the film.  We talk about seeing this movie in theaters, the glory that is Toni Collette, and what element gender plays in Aster's works. Make sure to buckle your seatbelt for this one!

Content Warnings: Decapitation, gore, extreme depictions of grief and trauma, nose breaking, gaslighting, a brief discussion of suicide, A LOT of ants, animal death, and animal beheading.

This week we donated to the Abortion Fund of Arizona. Learn more here: https://www.abortionfundofaz.org/
