Before it's construction began in 1851, The Hoosac Tunnel was nicknamed "The Great Bore" by it's critics but by the time construction had completed in 1873, the workers and locals had a different nickname for it; "The Bloody Pit."

On today's episode we explore the stories of death and the ghosts that supposedly haunt theĀ  Hoosac Tunnel.
