Unfortunately, there’s no simple cut and dry answer to this question. It may depend on where the person falls on the spectrum of narcissism. Ultimately, the greatest barrier to a narcissist’s success tends to be their own narcissism. Narcissists have to be motivated to change. He must be committed with a "can do" attitude. You must be patient and supportive.
