Description

Did you know there are 4.3 human births per second around the world?

Our guest and friend of the show, Lisa Marchiano, LCSW, is a psychotherapist and certified Jungian analyst. She is co-host of This Jungian Life and author of the newly released book, “Motherhood: Facing and Finding Yourself.”

In this episode, we explore the experience of motherhood from the Jungian perspective. While many books on motherhood are aimed at helping women become better parents, Lisa looks at the topic from a much different angle.

She asks, how can motherhood provide a woman with a unique opportunity for her own individual development? How can raising a child give her the chance to confront unresolved conflicts from her past? How can bringing new life into the world connect her spirit with the infinite?
