Show Notes:
5:00: Matt’s editing background
“From my classes, from my involvement in radio, to my involvement in podcasts, I realized I really liked telling stories, I really like meeting people, I really like inspiring people and taking the raw footage of an interview, making it into something really professional and then sending it out the world, to listeners like you.”
7:20: What editing entails
“I take out the long pauses, I take out all of those weird sounds with technology. I take out any background noise. If the guest goes on too long of a tangent, and I would assume that our listeners would be bored after a few minutes, I kind of shorten what the guest said to kind of get the gist of it.”
12:25: Podcasting Terms
In this section, Matt and Jodi define Show Notes and Podcast Distribution Site
15:20: Support of working on a team
“There's a bigger meaning of working on a team and getting what you want and finding the support and finding the proper support, so that you can get when you can.”
18:35: Working Systems
“When you see the human side of the people you work with, that really just helps with the job”
25:25: Matt wants your feedback!
“If there's anything that you want in addition to what you're already getting, or there's editing that you think could be maybe changed or you have any feedback generally, please reach out”
