Today we have a conversation with Mark Shenefelt, editor and reporter for the Standard-Examiner and United Pres International. Mark’s been a top editor at the Standard, the chief of the paper’s website and the past few years has been the foremost reporter on the subject of, among other things, inmate deaths in county jails. Mark’s one of those journalists who would never toot his own horn, but he’s done consistently good and great work over decades in northern Utah.
