Today we talk with Ron Thornburg, who was managing editor of the Standard-Examiner for most of his 16 years there. Prior to that, he worked for newspapers in Indiana, Florida, Virginia and Vermont. Ron has always been a thoughtful observer and practitioner of journalism, and he has plenty to say about where the news media have been, where they are now and where they’re headed.
