Join host Madeleine Scarfe and three more locals from our community as we hear their stories and listen to music from The Water Runners, HMO and our very own presenter, Gabi Cabral.
Gabi opens the episode chatting to Jamberoo-based writer and photographer, Rachel Tolosa Paz. An avid traveller, Rachel returned to Australia from Argentina in 2015 and was so inspired by the culture and country, set out to publish a food/travel book with renowned chef, Ross Dobson. 'The Food of Argentina' is homage to her love for Argentina and the special way in which Argentinians come together to eat.
Kurt Ogilvie is a personal trainer and exercise physiologist who once played indoor hockey for Australia. He now focuses on improving freedom, movement and holistic health habits through private training and small group classes. He talks to presenter Glenn Shepherd about running a business through the pandemic and how everyone can find the right exercise program to suit them.
Finally, our host Madeleine Scarfe gets the down-low on newly re-elected Kiama Community Radio President, Karen Lang. They talk about Karen’s career, her move to Kiama and how the idea to set up a brand new digital radio station came about.
