We remember the end of the Jacobite Rising on a moorland outside of Inverness. The battle of Culloden was the last battle fought on British Soil and marked the end of Catholic dreams of a restoration of the Stewart dynasty and Bonnie Prince Charlies recovery of the throne. We also look at the brutal Highland Clearances that followed.
