Listen

Description

A person could look extremely successful from the outside but if the source of their actions is shame or fear, can they really be said to have achieved much? Today on the show we are going to be digging into Dr. David Hawkins’ book Power vs Force, which lays out an energy spectrum between two fundamentally different ways of affecting change in the world. Being forceful is at the low end of the spectrum and is rooted in negativity, while being powerful is on the opposite end in all respects. As an example, Hitler’s actions were rooted in force, whereas Mother Teresa’s, in power. In this episode, we stress the idea that we change the world not by what we say or do but by who we have become. From this starting point, we will use Dr. Hawkins’ paradigm as a way of helping listeners to take the first steps toward the inner work that is required to become the person they need to be to reach the goals they want. Be sure to tune in and learn how to get to know yourself on a brand new level so that you can go back out into the world and show up with more power and less force today.
