Today I want to talk about improving your online store sales and it’s a flow on from last week’s episode because I wasn’t quite done talking about this.
So let’s dive in. I’m going to give you 3 simple tips for improving your online store sales.
I’m not sure if you tuned in last week, but I mentioned that I went to order flowers to share our sympathies. I must have visited half a dozen websites and many florists lost my business because they didn’t make it clear or simple for me.
They either used fancy or vague names to differentiate between what I think were different sizes, or they didn’t have ready to pick bouquets for me to choose from, or they weren’t clear on the process in terms of ordering and when it would be delivered.
When creating your online store, make it a simple as possible for someone. It doesn’t need fancy words. Sure, it needs really good descriptions and copywriting but above all, it needs to be really easy to be understood. It needs to be so simple that my 85 year old grandmother could order online, and she’s pretty tech savvy to be honest.
