Today we are talking about Advancing Women in Tech as both a goal and as an organization. We are going to be talking with the Founder and Board Chair of AWIT which works to empower women and members of other underrepresented groups to the highest levels of tech leadership.
We are very privileged have with us Nancy Wang. Nancy may be one of the busiest people in the world of tech. She has led product development for Google, Rubrik and now is General Manager of AWS data protection and governance. She also works on the investment side, is on multiple boards, writes for Forbes, and develops education programs with the University of Pennsylvania. Today, however, we are going to be talking with Nancy about Advancing Women in Technology or AWIT, a 20,000 strong organization that she is very passionate about. We are going to talk about the challenges facing women advancing in technology leadership, and what she is doing to raise women, and other marginalized people up.
