Approximately 11% of children in the US between the age of 4 and 17 have been diagnosed with ADHD. With 3.5 million children currently prescribed Adderall and more than 42% of people aged 12 and over abusing the drug without a prescription, it is clearly one of the most pressing issues of our time.
My guest today, Audrey Stimpson, is a master photographer who overcame a 23 year Adderall addiction and now manages her ADHD holistically through food, movement, meditation, breathwork, and more. As a fashion photographer working in the elite fashion and modeling industry of NYC for 8 years, Audrey had the privilege of shooting for top brands and major publications like Vogue, Elle, Forbes, and Robb Report to name a few. But since overcoming her addiction and becoming a mother, Audrey has made it her mission to help others free themselves of Adderall addiction too, and to help them thrive with ADHD.
If you've got a child with ADHD or have it yourself, this episode is chock full of information to help you manage this diagnosis in a more holistic way. Audrey is living proof that it can work. Listen in for the details.
