Description

Dr. Alaa Elnajjar is an International Medical Graduate, and currently a child and adolescent psychiatry fellow, soon to be joining the faculty at Brown.

Her interest in the impact of immigration on Physicians Well Being and the impact on their children led her to use Digital Tele-Psychiatry to improve access to underrepresented populations.

Her experience during residency and fellowship and the challenges she navigated as an immigrant physician led her to co-founding BuddiesSpace, an online resource for Physicians in training.

Today, she takes us through her journey as a resident and fellow and how that impacted her current and future goals and the impact she is having on physicians in training.
