Welcome to episode zero of Dealing with Goliath Podcast.
This is where I outline who it's for, what you might get out of it, who am I, and what I and it stand for. In short, what it’s all about.
This is potentially for you if:
You're interested in expanding your skills and knowledge of how to ethically negotiate, influence and persuade others to your point of view without feeling sleazy. If you’re trying to get someone else to see things how you do, many would say you’re negotiating.
If you're interested in creative problem solving, developing greater awareness of mindset and its effects, of scientific research and proven process, and innovation on the one hand, with better managing your emotions to get your biology to stop working against you and instead work for you in stressful situations. If you're interested in how to better stand your ground but without needing to get aggressive, or resort to nasty or cringe worthy techniques then maybe Dealing with Goliath podcast is for you
Who am i? I’m Alistair McBride, a trainer and coach focusing on communication and the psychological edge in negotiation.

I’m interested in people’s unique life and work experiences and directions and how that accumulates to their mindset and how they approach dealing with people and solving problems. I’m fundamentally interested in people.
The strong are never quite as strong or invulnerable as they seem, and the underdog is never as weak or limited as they seem. Everything about this podcast is about how to turn that tide, how to move things and tip the odds in your favour, without selling your soul.
