This week on the podcast is part two of our interview with Charles Stegeman. He's the concert master for the Pittsburgh Opera and Ballet, and teaches in the string department at Duquesne University. His list of teachers is a who’s who of the 20th century’s most renown string pedagogues. Much of our interview focuses on his work as a professional musician who has averaged over 60 concerts a year for the past 50 years, and his ability to combine his artistic vision and business skills to create music festivals including the Sunflower Music Festival and the Buzzards Bay Music Festival. Anyone who engages with donors and patrons will want to listen to this interview.
