God made us. We are His! We are His people. The sheep of His pasture.
God made humans special. Out of all the things that He created, we are the only things made in the image of God. We have a special job: to be in charge of the other things God created. We get to work for God and create things - like families, and we get to know God is a very special way through His son, Jesus.

Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Genesis 1:27 NIV
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
