The 2017-18 high school basketball season concludes this week with the playing of the boys state tournament, and Star Local Media concludes the podcast’s basketball coverage by recognizing some of the area’s standout teams and student-athletes.
The sports staff puts an Academy Awards spin on the discussion as well, with all six reporters naming the selections from their coverage areas for Best Cinematography (ie. Best Game) (2:30), Best Lead Actress (8:55), Best Lead Actor (14:30) and Best Picture (ie. Best Team) (19:30).
