Jiwon McCarthy, Korean American visionary, with a heart of gold. In 2014 Jiwon fulfilled her passion for service and community and Founded the grassroots charity Fight2Feed: a non-profit organization reducing food waste and sharing with those in need.
Since March 16, 2020 Fight2Feed has served over 200,000 Hot Meals, Rescued over 3 Million Pounds of Food, and Shared Free Pantries with more than 30,000 Families in need. In 2013 she created the National Cooking Competition Series; Culinary Fight Club to recognize talented local culinary artists in a Food Sport setting to create the Perfect Plate. In 2016 Culinary Fight Club became the inspiration and center stage of 13 episodes to the Kids Cooking Competition TV Series on the FYI network called Stove Tots.
