Gwen Arujuao was an American trans teenager who was murdered in Newark, California at the age of 17. She liked hanging out with her friends and doing typical teenage hobbies. She made friends with a group of young men that she partied and hooked up with. One awful night the men decided it was their decision to end her life because of who she was. She was humiliated, beaten and strangled. This did not need to happen.
