Meet Deidra Livingood, founder and president of the non-profit organization called Heart and Home Makeovers and owner of The Cove Co-working and Event Venue.
In 2017, Deidra left her 12-year career and started a nonprofit. When she realized how much she missed her "work community," she set out to find a co-working space. There wasn't one in her area, so she opened one herself! Her motto is, "Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can!"
Deidra is no stranger to trials. She lost her dad as a young girl and lost her husband at age 36. Despite the difficulties Deidra has endured, she chooses joy and faces obstacles with positivity. Instead of worrying what if, she's encouraged by the words even if. "Even if horrible things happen, I'm going to be okay."
She reminds us that God is good and that we are all capable of surviving difficult situations.
