Joss Whedon took the helm of Justice League after the sudden departure of Zack Synder. What we were left with in 2017 was Whedon's version, based on what was left by Synder, and Whedon filling in the holes. This movie will forever be compared to the Synder cut, and the first Avengers, which Whedon also directed. Does the DC version of superheroes coming together have a chance to make it into the Action Movie Hall of Fame, or is this movie better destined to spend its time in a primordial hell-scape?
