Most Christians would say that we ought to obviously follow our conscience in areas where the Bible doesn't give us specific instruction. Conscience has a serious place in our behavior. But let's see how quickly Christians abandon this Biblical view whenever it forces them to allow people freedom to make choices they don't like.
