Divine Simplicity is a doctrine of God that's been turned into a Frankenstein's monster of theology stitched together with pagan philosophy and forced back into the Bible. There is a Biblical version of the doctrine, and here I'm seeking to correct my previously held beliefs about it, as well as explain two issues with the view I previously held: how it leads to inconsistencies with the rest of our theology, and how the incorrect version of Divine Simplicity's true source is not from Scripture.
