The Gospel Coalition contains some good content. But it also contains lots and lots of bad content, including the article we discuss in this episode. If your church regularly allows people behind the pulpit who preach that Scripture shouldn't be taken seriously, that the Bible shouldn't be followed, and that we should disregard loving God, that would speak pretty poorly to the condition of the church. Well the Gospel Coalition allows this to happen all the time with articles like these, and wraps them articles up in a deceptive warm cuddly blanket that looks an awful lot like good exegesis but turns out being bad hermeneutics and arrongance. This is the Gospel Coalition.
