Of course as Christians we need to affirm that the Bible is the Word of God and therefore true. We also must recognize that each and every passage has a meaning that we can learn. But sometimes we get that meaning wrong. Each and every one of us is guilty of this in some way or another. So how do we treat our own understanding of the Bible as true while recognizing the possibility that we're getting something wrong?
