Burnout (Stress) and Your Health
As a burnout coach helping women create a more balanced and happy lifestyle, I have witnessed a lot of different health issues. Some of the main symptoms of burnout are fatigue, exhaustion, irritability, anxiety, but symptoms such as food allergies, food sensitivities, indigestion, bloating, gas and bathroom issues can be a big part of burnout too.
Stress is one of the biggest contributors to illness. Burnout can cause fatigue, mood imbalances, skin issues and also things like cravings, addictions, weight gain, digestive issues and more. If left unmanaged, it can also cause deeper issues and trigger more serious health issues. Burnout will lower your immune system making you more prone to contracting other ailments.
