Perth four-piece Great Gable present their latest offering, the radiant celebration that is On The Wall In The Morning Light. Following on from their 2020 debut Tracing Faces, the band return with a sound simultaneously more refined and unshackled, uplifted and introspective, deftly considered and spontaneously energetic.
This episode I chat with Great Gable. The band recently played Triple J’s Like A Version and discussed their cover of Owl City’s ‘Fireflies’ and recreating something with a Great Gable twist. We chat about working on their new album ‘On The Wall In The Morning Light’ at Rainbow Valley and the creation of recent single ‘Dancing Shoes’, a track about putting yourself out there and giving it a crack!
