Bec Sandridge is a songwriter, mentor, producer and multi disciplinary artist based on the South Coast of Australia. Sandridge's primary weapon of choice is guitar paired with her distinct vocals: she draws upon her folk roots to create 80s-esque, nostalgic-driven pop songs. This episode I chat with Bec about her latest track ‘Cost of Love’ and her upcoming EP ‘Lost Dog’ (out on October 7th) an ode to bookmarking the end of a relationship. We chat about making daggy dad synth pop, why Cheryl Crow is THE ONE and getting her hair tangled in her guitar strings at a show. Bec also touched how she came to write the soundtrack for the theatre production Ishamael.
