Voodoo Bloo is a powerful indie rock-driven project, led by Rory McDonald. Our sounds are very much influenced by acts such as Arctic Monkeys, Deftones and System of a Down, as well as some singer-songwriter artists such as Car Seat Headrest and Neutral Milk Hotel, which brings a great blend of emotional and conceptual songwriting with a very catchy and frequently danceable distorted mess.
This episode I chat with Voodoo Bloo about the processes of creating their beer and selling a collection of 1500 beer bottles in order to create the studio in which their debut album ‘JACOBUS’ was created. Rory also shared with us the horror story of all gig horror stories.
