"They say if you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true."
In the final week of Sleeping Beauty Month, Drew and Cassie explore two adaptations of the fairy tale from the Walt Disney Company. First up is the 1959 animated feature, including discussion of the fairies as the true leads and the pronunciation of the word "homage." Then we examine Maleficent, the 2014 live action reimagining of the original film starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning, which differs in major ways and delves into some deeper themes and concepts. And at the end of the episode, we reveal which fairy tale we will be discussing in November!
