For too many people, the message of Jesus has been so distorted, mismanaged, abused, or watered down that they are walking away from a cheap imitation rather than the real deal. Part of reclamation faith is people coming together to identify the pure heart of Jesus amidst the cultural captivity of his mission and message.
This episode looks at what is needed to reclaim the good news of Jesus from the institutional churches that may have tarnished it for so many people. We also touch upon whether Reclamation is anti-church (spoiler: it's not), shame as a component of some church impact, and how community is needed to seek healing and truth in this endeavor.
