Are you willing to walk your talk? Speak your authentic truth. Follow your life's mission and balance past present and future in the Now moment? If so, you are very likely carrying the medicine of the Crow. With Crow medicine you speak in a powerful voice addressing issues that are out of balance in this world today. Overall, the crow is a smart, social and curious bird, often symbolizing change. Some Native American cultures believe that if several scattered crows all of a sudden fly together to one place, it means to be on the lookout for enemies and be aware of change. In England, a crow on the roof foretold death or misfortune for that home's inhabitants. In Germany, crows and ravens were thought to be able to find souls of the dead. Swedes believed that their croaking caw were the voices of murdered people who had not been properly buried. An Irish superstition stated that crows were actually fairies bent on mischief and trickery. In ancient folklore, there are many dark superstitions about crows, involving ghosts, fairies, witches, death, and even symbolizing the devil. I find it very interesting that crows can imitate human speech and appear to be speaking multiple languages. Because they gather in large roosts they can be very noisy, producing harsh, disturbing sounds.
So call on Crow medicine for problem solving, healing insights, curious viewpoints, a little bit of humor and overall intelligence! “Call IT in With Dar!”
